So you can have a phone in every room in the house, Panasonic's KX-TG2730 expands to offer up to eight separate handsets. Each one can act as an intercom to that room, allowing you to know what's happening even when you're at the other end of the house.
Four-line LCD panels display the name and number of callers (with subscription to Caller ID service) and provide access to a 50-number phone directory that supplies one-touch dialing. A 10-number speed dialer and convenient speakerphone are located on the base, as is a fully digital answering system that provides up to 15 minutes of message time, each with a time and date stamp.
